Everybody who didn't live under a rock for the past two decades knows who Spider-Man is.
Bitten by a radioactive spider, turned and got a PVC suit to hide his face and everything else. He became a hero to many and enemy to few.
Cool story, bro.
The first Spider-Man movie was released in 2002 with Tobey Maguire holding the leading role. I'm not sure if my grammar is proper here but who cares? Yeah.
It was a huge thing. Everybody loved it, and to prove it I will point out that the move earned $114,844,116 on the opening night in theaters, which gives us gross $403,706,375.
Now, the movie was a big success, so they filmed Spider-Man 2. Okay, we still like it so we will go see it. Awesome! Mind blown!
Third movie - dude, let's go, it's gonna be good. Is it? I loved that movie and the transition because every girl likes bad guys deep down inside. If you're a girl and you said no, you were lying.
Let's compare these three figures.
Spider-Man = $403,706,375 gross
Spider-Man 2 = $373,585,825 gross
Spider-Man 3 = $336,530,303 gross
See what I'm talking about? You can only imagine how it went down for "The Amazing Spider-Man".
So anyways, let's get to the plot.
"The Amazing Spider-Man" is basically re-invention and re-interpretation of the comic books.
When I went to see the movie ("The Amazing Spider-Man 2") I was expecting something fresh and new. I wanted to see something that I haven't before. I know the basic plot is the same - spidey fights crime and gets the girl - but considering the fact that I haven't seen the first movie earlier (I have now, a few days ago) I didn't quite know what the film makers changed or added.
When I was watching the trailer it was all like 'oh cool' and 'aww that's so romantic' and 'lol Peter'.
Basically feels of an under-developed teenager. It's internet, feels like that are pretty normal,
So then I went to see the movie and to be honest it was pretty scary. I won't tell you everything because I don't like spoilers and you'd hate me. Anyways the thing you need to know is that this guy named Max falls into an aquarium with electric eels in it and turns into Electro. You know what Peter does with people like that.
Also he is trying to find his father and figure out the research they were doing, which is all connected with Electro and Harry Osborn.
Four words. It's all about Oscorp.
As for me it's way too much. The movie is quite overwhelming, many threads and options. But if you like movies like that with alot of action and threads and confusing deals, this is the movie just for you.
Thank you for reading, I hope you liked this review and if you did please commend and/or share this post. Tell me if you want me to do more reviews like that and if I should change, take away or possibly add something.
Take care, stay beautiful and I will write soon.
Hi, I believe that there is no one today who is you-er than you.
