So recently I've stumbled upon a dilemma of whether or not to use my favourite beauty products. Since they have alot of chemicals in them, i decided to give nature a try.
I've invented or, discovered a certain routine that has made my skin baby smooth, which is a thing that it hasn't been for a hot minute.
This routine is not able to substitute proper diet, so I encourage you to eat healthy as well. Then your skin's condition will improve 'from the inside'.
Therefore, I present to you my new facial skincare routine:
1. Green tea scrub
WARNING - It works better when it's used freshly after making
-1 teacup of brewed green tea, cooled (but only use 1/4 of it),
-leftover leaves or a teabag,
-sugar (it's better for your skin if it has small grains),
-half a teaspoon of olive oil,
Release tea leaves from the teabag, mix it all together until it resembles scrub.
Rub it gently in your face for about 30 seconds and rinse with lukewarm water to remove.
Take about a teaspoon of honey in your palms and gently rub it in your face.
Remove with wet cotton pads (this takes time).
Remember to remove it from your neck (I've learned this the hard way).
3. Rice milk
Apply to your face with a cotton pad, as if you were using a makeup remover.
4. Green tea toner
Take the rest of green tea mentioned earlier and apply it to your face with a cotton pad. Leave to dry.
5. Coconut oil
Rub very little coconut oil between your palms and apply to your face as if you were using your moisturiser. It only takes a few minutes to sink in.
There you go! Silky smooth facial skin :)
What other tips do you have for natural skincare?
Hi, I believe that there is no one today who is you-er than you.
